Two faced

I am talking about us, we Indians. Yes, we are double faced. We talk about discrimination and how Indians are treated in foreign countries (almost shit) but have we ever thought how we treat our own fellow Indians. For example- we have divided people on behalf of different caste and sub- caste's- general, scheduled caste, scheduled tribes etc etc.
We treat our domestic help's like they are not even humans. Not only this we restrict our children to marry in different caste because its not of our level. I mean sentiments of every Indian gets hurt if someone descriminates with them but have we ever thought how we treat our own neighbours/colleagues/domestic help.

Think about it. First clean ourselves before pointing a finger at others!!!

Karma

Well the title says it all...Karma... Yesterday, I was thinking about the events that have happened in my life whether good or bad. There are times in your life when you feel alone and perturbed, when you feel that everyone has left you but still someone knocks your door to console you and look after you. At that moment you realize what have you earned in your life. It’s your good Karma that stays with you.

Sometimes you do something good for someone without any expectation of receiving something in return, you may not get the benefit at that point of time, but definitely someone will return that favor to you might be in some other form.

It's an old saying whatever you sow, you reap, i.e. if you do good with others, you will get the same. But if you think bad of others or hurt anyone, then you will get the same. It's not your destiny that plays a vital role but it's your karma that will lead your life.

Even Lord Krishna said the same, “Karma kro fal ki chinta mat kro ". But instead of shifting our focus on things that we need to do, we start wondering that why this thing didn't happened or why I couldn't achieve this, etc...

Some other focuses on bad karma i.e. how to bring others down by hook or crook. We don't understand the fact that we have been awarded this life by God for a purpose. We all have a purpose in life that we need to find. Life is a gift to us and we can only achieve salvation if we practice good karma.

Remember at your death bed, you will be all alone but what will stay with you is your karma...

Tagged

Well, the title suggests something....isn't it ?In this perfect world, (read as virtual ) of facebook and twitters, the new trend is to tag it. If you dress up a little, you are going to a party and if you dress up normal, you are a shabby lot. If you hang around with the opposite sex, then there is cooking something and if you don't , then you are outdated ( 1960's model to be precise ). If you are thin, then people will mock at you and if you are fat , then still the same torture.  I mean what the heck is wrong with being yourself and not pretending to be perfect. In fact nobody is perfect. I proudly say I am imperfect. I make mistakes, learn from them and move forward. For starters, I don't have a perfect body, can't walk gracefully. I have curves and don't really flaunt them. I talk and laugh loudly, unaware of my gestures. Is it really a shame to be yourself these days. If you don't score high, then your future is scorned ( poor kids these days ). How can everybody be equally smart and pass with higher grades.
So, can we atleast stop tagging people and respect their individuality or else  world will be a market of wannabes who deemed to be perfect but of no use. Think about it.
